Overview
NAFOSTED is accepting Vietnam–Belarus joint applied-research and technology-development proposals across ICT, health and biotechnology, energy, manufacturing and high-tech agriculture.
Complete grant details
The programme plans to support up to 10 joint tasks for up to 24 months. Priority areas include AI, communications, cybersecurity, semiconductors and aerospace; vaccines, pharmaceutical chemistry and gene technology; nuclear, renewable and clean energy; robotics and agricultural machinery; and high-tech agriculture, post-harvest processing and storage. Vietnamese applied-research funding may cover up to 80% of project cost, capped at VND 8 billion per task. Technology-development funding may cover up to 50%, capped at VND 10 billion per task. Vietnamese public support may not exceed 2.5 times the Belarus partner contribution.
Eligibility requirements
Eligible Vietnamese-side recipients include agencies, organizations, enterprises and individuals active in science, technology and innovation that satisfy applicable Vietnamese rules. Proposals must be jointly prepared with a Belarus research partner and meet both countries’ selection requirements. Applied-research and technology-development teams must satisfy the source-stated recent research, IP, transfer, testing and commercialization criteria for the selected task type.
Tips for this grant
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Primary NAFOSTED bilateral call verified current. The source states submissions close before 17:00 on 15 October 2026 but does not explicitly identify the timezone; deadline_date is therefore used without inventing UTC. This append-only revision corrects published_at to null because the source provides a publication date but no timezone-specific publication timestamp.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
