UNICEF Sierra Leone is recruiting a 12-month national HMIS consultant to strengthen health information systems, digital health tools, data quality and programme dashboards.

Full job description

The consultant will support facility- and community-level HMIS capacity including DHIS2 and CHIS, help the Ministry of Health and UNICEF implement digital health tools such as Scorecard, Bottleneck Analysis and Action Tracker, design electronic data-collection tools using platforms such as EPI Info and KoBoToolbox, and maintain infographics and Power BI dashboards for performance monitoring and decision-making.

Requirements & qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health, Statistics, Demography, Computer Science, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field; at least two years of progressively responsible experience in health information systems, DHIS2 use/configuration, electronic data collection, data quality assurance and dashboard development; demonstrated DHIS2, KoBoToolbox/EPI Info, Power BI, data-quality and capacity-building skills; and fluency in English. Sierra Leone HMIS/CHIS familiarity, local languages and Ministry of Health/UN experience are assets.
