Full job description

Vacancy 2601784 supports the GCF-funded Carbon Sequestration through Climate Investment in Forests and Rangelands (CS-FOR) project. Responsibilities include day-to-day project management, annual work plans and budgets, partner coordination, financial delivery, reporting, procurement and HR planning, stakeholder engagement, monitoring project indicators and coordinating missions and technical consultants. The role is National Project Personnel and is advertised for six months with possible extension.

Requirements & qualifications

Applicants must be nationals of the Kyrgyz Republic, hold an advanced university degree in forestry, agriculture, international development, environment, social sciences, public administration or a related field, and have at least five years of progressively responsible experience coordinating complex climate-change-related development programmes. Working knowledge of English is required; Russian and Kyrgyz are assets.
