This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape national commercial strategy within the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic (CVRM) space. You will lead and develop a team of six Specialty Care Sales Representatives, creating the conditions for strong performance and continuous growth. The role combines people leadership, strategic planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will translate field insights and customer needs into actionable business plans and compliant commercial initiatives. Your work will help strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and support innovative approaches to cardiovascular care. You will operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where data, experimentation, and agility are valued. Lead, coach, empower, and develop a team of six Specialty Care Sales Representatives, setting clear objectives and supporting them in exceeding sales expectations within assigned budgets. Build a high-performance team culture that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, experimentation, accountability, and continuous development. Partner with Medical, Market Access, Sales Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to translate field insights into effective brand and territory strategies. Develop and implement compliant commercial initiatives designed to improve customer engagement, sales performance, and patient outcomes. Create forward-looking national business plans that identify opportunities, risks, market dynamics, and emerging customer needs. Review monthly business performance against objectives, identify trends and insights, and adjust strategies to improve results. Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, particularly key hypertension influencers and decision-makers. Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Marketing to develop innovative solutions for priority customers and address evolving market needs. Use customer insights, market intelligence, and performance data to inform strategic decisions and commercial priorities. Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and pharmacovigilance requirements, including appropriate adverse-event reporting. Provide strategic influence across the organization while maintaining a strong connection to field realities and customer needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience. Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, sales training, marketing, or sales management, including demonstrated people-management experience. Strong track record of leading, coaching, developing, and managing the performance of commercial teams. Solid understanding of Specialty Care Sales Representative capabilities, including therapeutic knowledge, territory management, selling, planning, product promotion, customer advocacy, and the patient journey. Demonstrated ability to analyze customer and market insights and translate them into strategies that deliver measurable sales results. Strong strategic thinking, business planning, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and active-listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Self-motivated, results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and comfortable making decisions in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments. Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trust, strengthen team cohesion, and work effectively across multiple functions. Strong motivational and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to developing people and recognizing performance. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, including overnight travel of up to 20% of the time. Fluency in written and spoken English required; French-language proficiency is an asset. Benefits Annual base salary range of $147,192.80–$193,190.55 CAD , with the final offer depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and business needs.
