Node.js Developer (Digital Marketing)

Project Description The engineer will join our client’s SSP Software Development team, working on a high-throughput Supply Side Platform in the AdTech domain. The platform processes hundreds of billions of real-time ad requests per day, creating complex technical challenges around performance, scalability, and operational excellence. Technologies JavaScript / Node.js Redis / Aerospike Kafka, Kinesis SQL / RDBMS Linux Git What You'll Do Own complex backend initiatives end-to-end, including design, implementation, integration, rollout, and operation; Build high-throughput, low-latency backend services for systems processing billions of transactions per day; Integrate with DSPs, SSPs, third-party data providers, and AdTech standards such as OpenRTB and VAST; Work with distributed systems, efficient caching, streaming pipelines, and in-memory data stores such as Redis, Kafka, and Aerospike; Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale production systems; Apply an SRE mindset, including observability, incident response, capacity planning, and shared on-call support; Drive testing, monitoring, and automation coverage, including load and acceptance testing; Apply an AI-first mindset to software development and data exploration; Raise the technical bar through code reviews, mentorship, and process/tooling improvements; Partner with product, operations, and engineering teams to shape the roadmap and architecture; Job Requirements 5+ years of expert-level backend development experience with JavaScript / Node.js at scale; Strong understanding of distributed systems, including scaling, fault tolerance, caching, and load balancing; Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and systems design; Hands-on experience with distributed databases such as Aerospike and Redis; Experience with streaming pipelines such as Kafka or Kinesis; Strong SQL / RDBMS skills; Strong experience with Linux-based environments, networking, and Git; Track record of code review and mentorship that helps improve engineering quality; Test-first mindset with experience in automated acceptance testing and load testing; Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team; Willingness to participate in rotating pager duty / on-call support for production issues; English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher; Nice To Have AdTech industry experience; BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; What Do We Offer The global benefits package includes: Technical and non-technical training for professional and personal growth; Internal conferences and meetups to learn from industry experts; Support and mentorship from an experienced employee to help you professional grow and development; Health insurance; Sports activities to promote a healthy lifestyle; Flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities; Referral program for bringing in new talent; Work anniversary program and additional vacation days.
