Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Non-Obstetric Sonographer to join a well-regarded NHS service in Gloucestershire. This role covers a broad case mix, including general abdominal, DVTs, paediatric, and gynaecological scans. You will be part of a supportive imaging team, delivering high-quality diagnostic services with a strong focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of non-obstetric ultrasound examinations (general abdominal, DVTs, paediatrics, and gynaecology).
Provide clear, accurate reporting and make appropriate referrals when necessary.
Contribute to the delivery of a professional and efficient ultrasound service.
Ensure patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout all examinations.
Requirements:
HCPC registration.
Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
Demonstrated competency in general abdominal, DVT, paediatric, and gynaecological ultrasound.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
