The call seeks Nordic–Baltic solutions to food security through three themes: preparedness and crisis response, resilient critical infrastructure, and stronger use of Nordic and Baltic food resources. Projects should involve relevant stakeholders or end users in co-development. The Nordic funding pool is up to NOK 115 million, with additional Estonian and Lithuanian contributions. NordForsk expects to fund around ten projects.

Applicants must form an eligible Nordic–Baltic consortium under the official call rules, including the required countries, research organizations and relevant stakeholder participation. National eligibility conditions and budget rules apply to each partner.
