Overview
Ongoing unpaid work-study and community-service placements with FSM NORMA, with timing and focus negotiated case by case.
Complete internship details
NORMA states that while its limited annual paid summer internship intake is separate, it also has ongoing work-study and community-service placements. Placements can be arranged in any NORMA division, including fisheries economics and development, corporate services, fisheries management, fisheries science and fisheries compliance. Duration depends on required student hours and can be negotiated.
Eligibility requirements
NORMA's page does not publish one universal academic threshold for the ongoing placements. Applicants should submit the official internship application, CV/resume, proof of health insurance if applicable, and an endorsement letter from parents or school. Availability depends on NORMA staff capacity to support the placement.
Tips for this internship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.

- Use concrete evidence of relevant work, projects and measurable results rather than generic claims.
- Confirm location, work authorization, remote restrictions and sponsorship terms before applying.
- Apply through the original employer or official recruitment destination shown on this page.
Verification notes
Verified on NORMA's official current internship page. The 2026 paid summer internship call is not represented as open; this record is specifically for NORMA's separate ongoing unpaid work-study and community-service placements. The page instructs applicants to email the listed documents to info@norma.fm and states timing/focus are negotiated case by case.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
