Based in Dunedin, this role offers a great opportunity to share your knowledge and improve patient care outcomes by combining your interest in healthcare with your flair for information technology, data science, and workforce development. Through education, coaching, and change leadership, you will help ensure the nursing workforce meets evidence-based guidelines, professional standards, and emerging digital health expectations that enhance care delivery.You will have the opportunity to advance nursing practice by ensuring our workforce adheres to evidence-based guidelines and professional standards, including essential training and compliance.You will also lead and support projects involving the planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives to improve patient care and service delivery. At times, this work will reach across the whole Health New Zealand Southern district.About YouOur ideal candidate will have:Current and considerable post-registration nursing experienceProfessional credibility in the clinical settingConfidence and passion for supporting and developing our nursesFirst-rate knowledge of the professional standards and regulations for nursesExperience in the use and implementation of digital technologies that support clinical practiceSuperior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsA current driver's licenseYou must be a Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate, have an appropriate postgraduate qualification, hold or be working towards PDRP, and be ready to submit within 6 months.
