Opportunity Information

Sansum Clinic is seeking a passionate and collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting an established, well-respected practice with a strong patient base. We currently have opportunities available in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, offering the chance to practice in vibrant coastal communities while working alongside a highly regarded team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management

  • Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions

  • Deliver follow-up visits, urgent add‑on visits, and work within a care‑team pod model

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and clinical support staff

  • Provide patient education on diet, exercise, medications, and long‑term disease management

  • Participate in administrative duties (approximately 10% of workload)

Position Details

  • Full-time position (36 patient‑care hours per week)

  • Monday–Friday, daytime schedule

  • Outpatient only (no hospital responsibilities)

  • No call requirement

  • Patient volume: 12–16 patients per day

  • Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team

Salary

  • 2 Year Guarantee

  • $130,000 – 180,000 Annually

Qualifications

  • NP/PA with Directly Related Experience in Endocrinology

  • Excellent skill set in Endocrinology

  • Interested in following chronic conditions over time

  • NP/PA Certified

  • DEA Certificate and/or California Furnishing License

  • Eligible to Work in the United States

  • CA Licensure or the Ability to Obtain CA Licensure

  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
