Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking an experienced part-time (0.50 FTE

with a potential pathway to future W-2 employment opportunities) Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, physician-led team in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern ambulatory urgent care setting with strong clinical leadership and operational support.

Position Highlights

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries across the lifespan

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, EKGs, and imaging

  • Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice and scope of licensure

  • Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

  • Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and coordination when clinically indicated

  • Practice within a highly respected, physician-led organization

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • National certification as an NP (FNP or equivalent) or PA-C

  • Active, unrestricted California license

  • Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)

  • BLS required; ACLS and PALS as applicable

  • Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience required
