JOB DESCRIPTION & JOB QUALIFICATIONS Responsible for navigation safety and voyage planning, including chart corrections and publications Assists Chief Officer in cargo operations, inspections, and safety duties Responsible for the safety equipment and Voyage plan of the vessel. Holder of valid COC (STCW Reg II/1) with verification. Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position. Good communication and leadership skills. VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum experience requirements: 6 months in Rank with the same type/size of vessel. Experience onboard same vessel tonnage is mandatory. Experience in Steam Turbines cargo pump system is recommended. Experience with Crude Oil and STS cargo operations. Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.
