Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven On-Trade Sales Manager to manage and grow relationships with hotels, restaurants, and bars within the premium alcoholic beverage sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beverage or hospitality sales with a proven track record in driving revenue and expanding market share.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the company's presence in the on-trade sector, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth. Fluency in English and one other European language is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key on-trade clients including hotels, restaurants, and bars to drive sales and increase brand presence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the on-trade sector to drive market expansion.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with brand goals and market trends.
  • Organize and execute brand activations, promotional events, and training sessions for on-trade clients.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, market activity, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Train and support on-trade partners to increase product knowledge and drive upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in beverage or hospitality sales (experience in the premium sector is preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the on-trade sector and premium alcoholic beverage market.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to engage with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language is required.
