The Nordic Ocean Accelerator Programme supports ambitious ocean economy startups and SMEs to scale, commercialise, and prepare for investment and growth in the Nordic region.
The Nordic Ocean Accelerator Programme was established to drive the blue transition by equipping ocean economy startups and SMEs with the tools, networks, and expertise needed to thrive in the Nordic region. The programme brings together leading Nordic ocean clusters and industry partners to foster innovation and sustainable growth in sectors such as seafood and blue food, maritime, ocean energy, ocean technology, ocean data and AI, and ports and logistics.
Participants benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that includes six learning modules, an online kickoff, a hybrid final event, and ongoing support through an online learning environment. The programme is designed to strengthen market entry strategies, validate commercialisation plans, and enhance investment readiness, with guidance from Nordic industry experts and investors. Key workshop themes include leading blue growth, commercialisation, funding strategy, investment readiness, impact, and pitching.
Eligibility is open to startups and SMEs operating in the ocean economy sectors who are seeking to expand or establish their presence in the Nordic countries. The programme is particularly suited for innovators aiming to accelerate their growth, access new markets, and prepare for their next funding round.
