OpenShift Systems Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a OpenShift Systems Administrator based in United States. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and operational support of an enterprise Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization environment. You will help maintain high levels of system availability, performance, security, and compliance across Linux and Windows infrastructure. A key focus of the position is supporting virtual machine and workload migrations from VMware vSphere to OpenShift Virtualization. You will collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system reliability. The role combines systems administration, virtualization, automation, monitoring, security hardening, and infrastructure lifecycle management. You will also contribute to operational efficiency through scripting, configuration management, and automation using tools such as Ansible. This position offers hands-on exposure to modern virtualization technologies within an enterprise and highly regulated environment.
