Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Operational Excellence Lead based in United States. This role will drive operational excellence across a growing portfolio of utility-scale battery energy storage assets. You’ll develop scalable processes, systems, and best practices that support safe, reliable, and commercially effective operations. A key focus will be leading the implementation and optimization of Sitetracker for asset management and post-COD operations. You’ll translate complex contractual, technical, compliance, safety, warranty, and O&M requirements into clear workflows and standardized processes. The position also offers an opportunity to apply AI tools to improve documentation, reporting, process automation, and operational efficiency. Working across multiple teams and projects, you’ll identify gaps, establish standards, and drive continuous improvement throughout the operating fleet. This is a high-impact opportunity for a process-oriented professional to help build the systems and discipline needed to scale energy infrastructure operations.

Lead the implementation, optimization, governance, and user adoption of Sitetracker for post-COD operations. Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures, process maps, templates, trackers, training materials, and other operational documentation. Partner with cross-functional teams to translate contract, O&M, warranty, compliance, safety, and technical requirements into repeatable workflows and processes. Support the onboarding and optimization of enterprise agreements and operations management processes within Sitetracker. Use AI and other digital tools to identify process gaps, analyze lessons learned, create solutions, and improve operational workflows. Support contract obligation extraction, documentation standardization, reporting, and tracking using AI and other appropriate tools. Support pre-COD activities for upcoming projects, including logging requirements, process workflows, punch-list items, project onboarding activities, and related documentation. Identify opportunities to improve consistency, accountability, data quality, and operational discipline across assets and projects under construction. Manage special projects focused on improving system utilization, process efficiency, and operational performance. Coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders, track open actions, and ensure initiatives are driven through to completion. Develop dashboards, templates, workflows, and reporting tools that improve visibility and decision-making. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operating fleet by incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and evolving best practices. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in program management, project management, business operations, systems implementation, or a related function. Experience with Sitetracker or similar enterprise platforms, including contract management, project management, document management, CMMS, or workflow systems. Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve workflows, documentation, data organization, reporting, automation, or business operations. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, track open items, and drive initiatives to completion. Excellent organization and documentation skills, with experience developing SOPs, process maps, trackers, training materials, dashboards, or reporting tools. Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to identify gaps, standardize workflows, and develop scalable operating processes. Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable creating structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, utilities, construction, infrastructure, or another asset-intensive industry is preferred but not required. Bachelor’s degree in business, document management, project management, information systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered. Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Harvey, or similar platforms to improve efficiency, quality, and responsiveness while applying appropriate judgment and oversight. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, operational, commercial, and corporate teams. Benefits: Annual salary of approximately $120,000, with bonus eligibility; final compensation depends on skills and experience. 401(k) program with a 6% company match. Medical, dental, and vision benefits. Monthly cell phone stipend. 20 vacation days. 5 sick days. 9 observed holidays. Fully remote position within the continental United States. Periodic travel to company offices, project sites, or other meeting locations as needed. Opportunity to work at the forefront of the rapidly growing utility-scale battery energy storage industry. High-impact role with significant influence on operational scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Inclusive and collaborative environment that supports professional growth and career development.
