ABOUT THE ROLE Own a core operational domain at an early-stage fintech company, such as customer operations, payment operations, or financial crime operations. You will build the processes, metrics, tools, and automations that help the operation handle more volume without growing headcount, working closely with Product and Engineering. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Handle operational cases directly at first to identify process gaps and define measures of success.
- Design and launch production automations and agents, then measure their impact on operational volume.
- Develop and scale an operating model that routes people to high-risk or complex decisions while automating routine work.
- Work with Product and Engineering to specify and build operational tools and agent workflows.
- Create and maintain SOPs, escalation paths, and KPIs, revising them as processes change. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years building products or processes at a bank, fintech, payments, or crypto company, or consulting experience with regulated financial services.
- Experience shipping automations or agents in live production environments, including AI agents, LLMs, or other intelligent automation systems.
- Hands-on operational experience with queues, cases, or transaction processing, and ownership of an operational domain from process design through tooling and KPI definition.
- Experience working directly with Product and Engineering to build operational systems and improve workflows.
- Knowledge of regulated financial services operations; experience in payments, clearing, settlement, compliance, risk, or financial crime operations is valuable.
- A practical, automation-first approach and comfort building in an early-stage or high-growth environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual salary: $180,000 to $220,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in New York, New York, United States.
