The County of Blair is looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to provide direction, oversight, and technical guidance supporting the daily operations of the 911 Center’s dispatch responsibilities. Manages the training and integration of new telecommunicator staff. Requirements Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalency degree. Five years of experience in a dispatch/911 environment, including at least two years of experience supervising telecommunicators. Must meet minimum requirements as a certified telecommunicator, including maintaining active certifications in: CPR, AED, Emergency Medical/Police/Fire Dispatching (EMD/EPD/EFD), and Hazmat training. Must be certified through CLEAN/NCIC. Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) required. Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalency degree. Five years of experience in a dispatch/911 environment, including at least two years of experience supervising telecommunicators. Must meet minimum requirements as a certified telecommunicator, including maintaining active certifications in: CPR, AED, Emergency Medical/Police/Fire Dispatching (EMD/EPD/EFD), and Hazmat training.
