Operations Specialist - FX Operations

Firm Overview Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008.  Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading. Role Overview Verition is seeking a motivated Operations Specialist to join its FX Operations team. The Specialist will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation across a high volume of transactions, multiple accounts, counterparties, and asset classes, leveraging a suite of internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of breaks. Responsibilities Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers. Escalate and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks. Identify process gaps and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. Support trade capture for FX strategies. Track and manage trade lifecycle events including expiries, cashflows, and marking positions Qualifications  2-5 years of experience in investment management or fund operations. Working knowledge of productions FX spot, forwards, NDF, swaps, and exotic FX options. Strong understanding of trade lifecycle. Familiarity with OMS platforms and prime broker portals Bloomberg AIM, Orchestrade, or Geneva experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000 (USD). In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as geographic location, work experience, qualifications, and skill level.
