Full job description
The Parole Board advises the Governor and Minister on release of prisoners on licence and related parole-system matters. Members are appointed by the Governor with Cabinet approval and may serve for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must reside in the Virgin Islands and be willing to contribute actively to the Board. The Ministry particularly encourages people with experience in law, psychology, psychiatry, social work, counselling, rehabilitation or community service.
