The role supports FAO Uganda's resource-mobilization workflow under its 2026-2030 Country Programming Framework. Responsibilities include preparing donor intelligence and briefing notes, maintaining the resource-mobilization opportunities pipeline, supporting donor meetings and follow-up, developing project briefs, and coordinating inputs for concept notes and proposals. Requirements & qualifications
FAO lists an advanced university degree or university degree in international development, international relations, economics, political/social sciences, agribusiness, agricultural or environmental sciences, rural development or a relevant field; consultants with a bachelor's degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience. At least five years of relevant resource-mobilization, partnership-development or project-management experience in humanitarian/development contexts is required, including national or international experience with the UN or another international development organization. Working knowledge/full proficiency in English is required.
