About The Position

About the role

As our People & Culture Specialist, you’ll own recruiting operations and key people processes across the employee lifecycle. You’ll create an excellent experience for candidates and employees while helping us hire, onboard, and retain exceptional people.

This is an 18-month maternity leave cover. You’ll report to the CTO and work closely with hiring managers and Office Management. It’s a hands-on role with real ownership and room to improve recruiting and people processes as we grow.

What you will do

  • Run our end-to-end recruiting process, including proactively sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels

  • Draft and improve job descriptions with hiring managers; coordinate interview logistics, remove bottlenecks, and keep candidates informed

  • Prepare employment offers, coordinate contract creation, and manage onboarding, offboarding, employee documents, and reference letters

  • Keep Personio, Clockodo, and our people documentation accurate; coordinate surveys and performance-review cycles

  • Bring our culture and employer brand to life through new-joiner communication, job fairs, events, and team activities, while continuously improving recruiting and people processes

Qualifications And Requirements

What you bring

  • Around 2+ years of experience in recruiting, people operations, HR coordination, or a similar role

  • Hands-on recruiting experience and the motivation to take on the wider employee lifecycle

  • A warm, clear communication style and sound judgement with candidates, colleagues, and managers

  • Strong organisation skills: you work independently, follow through, and keep several topics moving

  • Fluent German and English

  • Discretion when handling confidential candidate and employee information

  • Comfort with HR tools, data, and documentation

Nice to have

  • Experience with Personio, Clockodo, LinkedIn Recruiter, or another ATS/HRIS

  • Basic knowledge of the German employment context

  • Experience with onboarding, performance reviews, or employee surveys

  • Employer-branding, job-fair, or company-event experience
