People Operations Specialist (Bulgaria)

Responsible for executing day-to-day HR processes and ensuring accuracy across employee lifecycle activities. Supports HR operations, data administration, and compliance with internal policies and local labor laws. Plays a key role in maintaining HR systems and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Ensures smooth employee experiences by managing documentation, responding to HR-related queries, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.

Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, transfers, contract renewals and terminations Prepare, administer, and maintain employment contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and other employment-related documentation. Coordinate and manage relationships with Employer of Record (EOR) providers and support workforce administration across multiple jurisdictions. Ensure accurate maintenance of employee and contractor records within HR systems and personnel files in accordance with legal and internal requirements. Support compliance with Bulgarian labour law, employment regulations, GDPR requirements, and internal company policies. Respond to employee and manager queries relating to employment documentation, leave administration, policies, and operational processes. Serve as the primary point of contact for People Operations matters in Poland and support international workforce administration as required.

3 - 4 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or similar HR support roles. Experience supporting the administration of employment contracts, contract amendments, and employee lifecycle documentation. Good understanding of Bulgarian labour law and HR compliance requirements. Experience working in an international or multinational environment. Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as HiBob, Workday, or similar systems. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Professional fluency in both Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken.

Experience supporting employees and contractors across multiple countries. Experience participating in HR process improvement, digitalisation, or automation initiatives. Knowledge of employment administration and compliance requirements in jurisdictions outside Bulgaria. Experience in coordination of EOR arrangements.
