About the role We are looking for an ambitious People Operations Specialist to join our People team in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that sits at the heart of how we grow our teams and take care of our people. Roughly 70% of your time will go to hiring – owning full-cycle technical recruitment for our Slovenia teams, from scoping roles with hiring managers to sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates all the way to offer. The remaining time is spent keeping People operations sharp: running orientation sessions for new joiners, supporting employer branding events that bring our culture to life, and handling the HR administration that keeps everything running behind the scenes. Throughout, you'll partner closely with our People Business Partner (PBP) function and a thriving global People team. If you love finding great technical profiles, creating a smooth experience for every candidate and employee, and building people processes that actually work, this role is for you. What you'll bring 2-3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or People Operations, ideally with some exposure to hiring for technical or engineering roles A track record of running recruitment processes end to end – comfortable owning sourcing, screening, and interview coordination independently The ability to source and engage passive and active candidates through direct outreach, referrals, job boards, and your own network, and to keep a clean, well-organized pipeline Confidence partnering with hiring managers to scope roles, calibrate on what "great" looks like, and keep hiring moving at pace Comfort supporting employer branding events and initiatives – helping plan, coordinate, and show up for activities that strengthen how candidates and the wider community experience DevRev Basic knowledge of HR administration and genuine comfort handling it day to day – records, documentation, and the everyday requests that keep People operations reliable Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail, with the ability to juggle many parallel threads without dropping any Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Slovenian, with a warm, people-first, service-minded approach A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through – someone who notices what needs to happen and makes it happen Preferred qualifications: Experience with hiring and onboarding, including running or supporting new-hire orientation Experience hiring for technical or engineering roles in a fast-paced or high-growth environment Experience organizing or supporting employer branding events Familiarity with HR and applicant tracking tools, with a bias toward keeping data clean and up to date DevRev is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition, or any other basis protected by law.
