PETRONAS describes the internship as experiential learning and first work exposure in the energy industry. Placements run for a minimum of eight weeks and a maximum of twelve months. Applications are accepted based on placement availability and must be submitted three months before the intended internship start.
Eligibility requirements
Eligible applicants are undergraduate students at accredited local or overseas institutions where internship is mandatory in a discipline relevant to PETRONAS, or diploma students at accredited Malaysian institutions in technical or engineering disciplines where internship is mandatory. Minimum CGPA is 3.00 or equivalent.
