Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Accuracy Checking Technician) Location: Northwest London Start Date: 1st October 2026 Duration: Until 31st October 2026 Hourly Rate: £24 - £26 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician (Accuracy Checking Technician) to join the pharmacy team in Northwest London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a leading private healthcare setting, supporting the dispensary service and ensuring the safe and efficient supply of medicines to patients. The successful candidate will be primarily dispensary-based and will play a key role in maintaining high standards of accuracy, patient safety, and pharmaceutical care while working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Undertake Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) duties within the dispensary. Support the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines. Perform final accuracy checks in accordance with departmental procedures and professional standards. Maintain compliance with medicines legislation, governance, and hospital policies. Support stock control and medicines supply processes. Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary service. Qualifications and Experience Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Hold an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification. Have previous hospital pharmacy experience. Demonstrate significant dispensary-based experience. Possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy checking skills. Have strong organisational and communication abilities.
