PHC Bantou is the Franco-Cameroonian Hubert Curien Partnership. The 2027 call supports scientific and technological collaboration between French and Cameroonian research teams across all disciplines. Projects run for one year, with 2027 mobilities scheduled between 15 March and 31 December 2027. The Cameroon-side funding request must not exceed €7,500 over the programme and the France-side funding request must not exceed €7,500. Funding is restricted to mobility costs: travel and subsistence allowances for researchers, doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers engaged in the project. Other project costs must be covered by the participating laboratories or other sources. Applications opened 30 July 2026 and must be co-developed by the two partner teams.
Eligibility requirements
The call is open to permanent researchers in laboratories attached to higher-education institutions or research organizations. French companies may participate when associated with an academic partner; companies on the Cameroon side are not eligible. A proposal is eligible only when jointly prepared by the French and Cameroonian partners. The French team lead initiates the collaborative online application, invites the Cameroonian project lead to complete the Cameroon portion, and is the person who formally submits the project.
