Full job description
The position is linked to a four-year Ph.D. programme with financial support for four years and a 0.5 FTE non-academic employment contract of 20 hours per week. The research focuses on synthesis of bambusuril-derived macrocycles and their supramolecular properties, especially anion binding. The programme includes interdisciplinary research, experienced supervision, research infrastructure, international mobility and transferable-skills courses.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need an MSc or corresponding university degree in organic chemistry or a related field, good English and communication skills, and an analytical, structured and detail-oriented approach. A background in synthetic organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry is preferred.
