About the Role
Pulse Nursing Agency is currently recruiting experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants to support an exciting national research initiative – the Our Future Health Project in Brighton.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour

Saturday: £20.96 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.78 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will:
-
Carry out POCT testing, including cholesterol checks
-
Record height, weight, waist measurements, blood pressure, and heart rate
-
Perform venepuncture (2 samples per participant), ensuring correct labelling and storage

Accurately record patient data on the system

Monitor participant wellbeing throughout appointments and escalate concerns appropriately
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
-
A Phlebotomy Certificate
-
Minimum 12 months’ experience in blood collection
-
Experience taking patient observations (vital signs)
-
Strong patient care and communication skills
-
Right to Work in the UK
