Full job description
Project Scheduling & Planning
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Define project milestones, critical paths, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather inputs for planning and scheduling purposes.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Identify potential delays or risks and suggest corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Track actual vs. planned timelines, manpower, and resources.
Coordination & Documentation
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams for accurate planning data.
- Assist in preparing work breakdown structures (WBS), manpower histograms, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure proper documentation of schedules, updates, and baselines.
Cost & Resource Management Support
- Coordinate with the commercial team for budget and cost alignment.
- Assist in monitoring material usage, subcontractor progress, and procurement lead times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in planning within the aluminium and glass/façade or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium and glass systems, façade elements, and construction workflows.
- Familiarity with site operations, procurement processes, and project execution practices.
- Good understanding of UAE construction standards and timelines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
