This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Engineer based in United States. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and operating secure cloud-native platforms supporting mission-critical government applications. You will engineer AWS-based Kubernetes environments and ensure they remain reliable, scalable, secure, and supportable. The position combines infrastructure automation, container orchestration, DevSecOps, cybersecurity compliance, observability, and technical troubleshooting. You will translate application and mission requirements into repeatable platform services while collaborating with engineering, cybersecurity, network, and mission teams. The role also involves application onboarding, release management, vulnerability remediation, incident response, and continuous service improvement. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential for communicating technical risks, platform health, and recommended actions to diverse stakeholders. This is a fully remote U.S. opportunity supporting Department of Defense operations and requires an active Secret security clearance.
