ETH Zurich is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for the ERC-funded Attochirality project to develop attosecond chiroptical spectroscopy and spin-resolved electron detection.

The researcher will help build and commission a new ultrafast optical platform, work with XUV and few-cycle optics, reaction-microscope spectroscopy and spin-sensitive detection, and contribute to experiments on chiral electronic dynamics. The position is fully funded for one year and renewable up to five years, with a preferred start of 1 October 2026.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants need a PhD in experimental atomic, molecular or optical physics, physical chemistry, photonics, laser physics or a closely related field, a strong publication record and substantial hands-on experience in relevant ultrafast/attosecond, XUV, momentum spectroscopy or detector technologies.
