LUMS CAPE is recruiting a fully funded postdoctoral researcher for interdisciplinary air-pollution research covering monitoring, particulate-matter chemistry, source apportionment, modelling, emissions, exposure and environmental impacts.

The full-time postdoctoral appointment is initially for one year, with the possibility of renewal for two additional years subject to satisfactory performance. Work includes field sampling, laboratory and data analysis, research records and quality assurance, manuscripts and technical outputs, presentations, grant-proposal contributions, and mentoring students and research staff.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants need a PhD in a relevant science or engineering discipline and research experience in air-quality monitoring, aerosol or particulate-matter characterization, analytical instrumentation and/or modelling. Strong scientific writing, presentation and communication skills are required. Experience with techniques such as ion chromatography, GC-MS, ICP-OES, XRF, OC/EC analysis or aerosol samplers is advantageous.
