PR & Communications Manager

This role offers the opportunity to shape how an innovative AI product is introduced and positioned for a global audience. You will own the external communications strategy, develop compelling narratives, and build strong relationships with technology, business, and mainstream media. Working closely with founders and senior leadership, you will translate complex products and ideas into clear, engaging communications. The position is highly hands-on, combining strategic thinking with writing, editing, media outreach, and executive communications. You will support major launches, partnerships, announcements, and reputation management initiatives while ensuring consistency across external messaging. Develop and execute a global communications strategy that strengthens brand positioning and clearly communicates the organization’s products, mission, and ambitions. Build and maintain strong relationships with technology, business, and mainstream media while developing targeted opportunities for meaningful and high-quality coverage. Identify compelling media angles, proactively pitch stories, and manage communications activities designed to increase visibility and credibility. Write and edit press releases, product announcements, company updates, executive communications, and other external-facing materials with a consistently high standard of quality. Shape company messaging, positioning, and product narratives, translating complex AI and technology concepts into clear and compelling stories for different audiences. Prepare founders and senior executives for media interviews, conferences, public appearances, and other high-profile communications opportunities. Develop communication plans supporting product launches, strategic partnerships, major announcements, and other significant company milestones. Monitor media coverage and broader communications opportunities, using insights to strengthen brand awareness, positioning, and reputation. Partner closely with product, recruiting, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging across external communications and key organizational initiatives. Support crisis communications and reputation management when required, helping protect the organization’s public positioning through thoughtful and timely communication. Requirements: Bring professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or a related communications discipline, ideally within the technology sector. Demonstrate exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a proven capacity to explain complex products, technologies, and ideas in a clear and engaging way. Have established relationships with technology and business journalists and a strong understanding of how to develop effective media strategies. Demonstrate experience managing communications for product launches, major announcements, partnerships, or other high-impact business milestones. Possess strong judgment and the ability to identify important stories, develop compelling narratives, and adapt messaging to different audiences and communication channels. Be comfortable working directly with founders, executives, and senior leadership, including advising them on external communications and preparing them for public engagements. Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment, take ownership of projects, and make sound decisions with limited direction. Bring exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and consistently high standards for written and verbal communication.
