At Belong, outstanding care starts with colleagues who feel confident, capable and supported. As our Practice Development Facilitator, you will play a vital role in developing our teams, embedding best practice and helping colleagues deliver exceptional, person-centred support.
Based at our new Belong Birkdale village, you will lead engaging inductions, workshops, coaching sessions and reflective learning activities. You will work alongside managers, mentors and operational teams to ensure colleagues have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to be their best.
This is much more than a classroom-based training role. You will spend time within our services, observing practice, coaching colleagues and turning learning into meaningful improvements for the people who live with us.
What you’ll be doing
You will:
- Design and deliver engaging inductions, workshops and learning sessions
- Coach and mentor colleagues to develop confidence, capability and professional practice
- Facilitate reflective practice and team learning sessions
- Support colleagues with performance development and career progression
- Work closely with managers and workplace mentors to provide effective ongoing support
- Observe practice and provide constructive, supportive feedback
- Evaluate the impact of learning through audits, feedback and observation
- Identify learning needs and develop practical interventions that improve service quality
- Promote safe, inclusive and values-led learning environments
- Travel to other Belong locations when required to support organisational learning priorities

Requirements
About you
You will be someone who can build trust, engage different audiences and inspire people to put learning into practice.
You will have:
- Experience of coaching, mentoring or facilitating adult learning in care settings
- Experience within health and social care or a similarly regulated environment
- A strong understanding of reflective practice and performance development approaches
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification
- A willingness to work towards a teaching, assessing or adult teaching qualification; holding one already is a plus
- The flexibility to work across evenings and occasional weekends and travel between Belong locations when required
- Eligibility to work in the UK
