The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Practice Lead - Microsoft to lead the strategy, growth and commercial success of our Microsoft business.

This is a high impact leadership role responsible for shaping our Microsoft service portfolio, maximising the value of our Microsoft partnership, and driving new opportunities across Modern Work, Security, Azure, Data and AI.

You will act as blueAPACHE's senior Microsoft specialist, partnering with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Marketing and Finance to build scalable offerings, enable customer success and help organisations realise measurable value from emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and AI solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to influence business outcomes, shape strategy and build the next phase of our Microsoft advisory capability.

Requirements

Essential:

• Significant experience in a senior Microsoft practice, alliance, partner or solution leadership role within an MSP, systems integrator or Microsoft partner environment.

• Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Security, Azure, Data, AI and Copilot technologies.

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft partner programs, incentives, designations and commercial frameworks.

• Proven experience owning commercial outcomes, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing and profitability.

• Experience developing and launching technology services and go-to-market offerings.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing and commercial models, including New Commerce Experience (NCE).

• Experience supporting complex sales opportunities and building enablement programs.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and executive engagement skills.

• The ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams and functions

Highly Regarded

• Experience building AI, advisory or consulting practices.

• Experience delivering AI use cases, workshops or proof-of-concept engagements.

• Established relationships within Microsoft Australia and the partner ecosystem.

• Microsoft certifications and/or tertiary qualifications in business, technology or a related discipline.

• Experience supporting mid-market and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the Microsoft practice, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with Microsoft and key ecosystem partners.

• Own the Microsoft services portfolio, including service development, pricing, packaging and go-to-market strategies.

• Drive commercial performance through forecasting, budgeting, margin optimisation and incentive program management.

• Support strategic customer engagements and complex opportunities as a senior Microsoft subject matter expert.

• Build enablement programs that help sales and delivery teams position, scope and deliver Microsoft solutions consistently.

• Lead the development of new advisory and AI-focused services, including business cases, service design and commercial models.

• Identify market opportunities and ensure blueAPACHE remains at the forefront of Microsoft's evolving cloud and AI landscape.

Employment Conditions

The role may require occasional travel to customer sites, blueAPACHE offices and Microsoft partner events. Continued professional development and maintenance of Microsoft product and partner-program knowledge is expected.
