Pricing Operations Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pricing Operations Analyst based in India. This role focuses on the operational execution of global pricing strategies across a diverse portfolio of products and services. You will manage pricing data and list prices across enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates for different customer segments. The position combines pricing operations, financial analysis, systems expertise, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with regional pricing teams, Finance, Product Management, Sales, and other stakeholders to implement pricing initiatives and resolve discrepancies. As the primary pricing operations contact for the APAC region, you will also contribute to broader global pricing programs and transformation initiatives. The role provides exposure to advanced pricing methodologies, automation, business intelligence, and strategic pricing projects. It is well suited to an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys improving processes and working with data and enterprise systems in a global environment.

Manage and maintain global list prices across a broad product and service portfolio, ensuring alignment with approved pricing strategies. Oversee day-to-day pricing operations within SAP and CRM systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date pricing data. Ensure pricing information is correctly maintained across customer segments, including commercial, government, and distributor accounts. Coordinate price updates and investigate pricing discrepancies in collaboration with regional pricing stakeholders, Finance, Product Management, Sales, and other relevant teams. Provide specialist guidance to regional stakeholders on pricing processes, system requirements, data quality, and implementation activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for pricing operations across the APAC region while contributing to global pricing initiatives. Ensure pricing activities comply with internal controls, audit requirements, applicable policies, and government pricing regulations. Monitor pricing data and processes to identify inconsistencies, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement. Drive process optimization and automation initiatives that improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Analyze pricing data and develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Partner with Sales teams to support effective execution of pricing initiatives driven by field requirements. Participate in strategic pricing projects and transformation initiatives, contributing operational expertise and gaining exposure to advanced pricing methodologies and tools. Support the development and adoption of improved pricing processes, systems, and governance practices. Collaborate across global teams and stakeholder groups to ensure pricing initiatives are implemented effectively and consistently. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA in Marketing or Finance is preferred. 5+ years of professional experience in pricing operations, finance, commercial operations, or a related function within a global organization. Demonstrated experience supporting or executing pricing initiatives and working closely with Sales or field teams. Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP and CRM systems. Experience working with pricing data, master data processes, and enterprise business systems. Advanced Excel skills with experience using data analysis and automation techniques. Experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and data visualization tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing pricing information and operational processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain pricing concepts and requirements clearly. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups across regional and global teams. Experience working in environments that require strong process discipline, data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver pricing activities accurately within established timelines. Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as ECC, HANA, Salesforce/CRM, ICM, CPQ, or similar systems is an advantage. Familiarity with SharePoint page development, Qlik, Power BI, dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization is desirable. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
