Role Overview As a Retail Business Analyst , you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across Coupang Taiwan’s retail organization. You will partner closely with Merchandising, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to analyze performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize business outcomes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Business Performance & Insights Analyze retail KPIs including sales, margin, inventory turns, and customer behavior to identify trends and performance gaps Provide actionable insights to improve category growth, profitability, and operational efficiency Build dashboards and reports to monitor daily/weekly/monthly business performance Pricing & Promotion Analytics Support pricing strategy through competitive benchmarking and elasticity analysis Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI, recommending improvements for future campaigns Partner with merchandising teams to optimize assortment and pricing decisions Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization Analyze inventory health, demand forecasting accuracy, and replenishment efficiency Identify risks such as stockouts and overstock, and propose mitigation strategies Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve operational efficiency Strategic Projects Support strategic initiatives such as new category launches, vendor performance analysis, or market expansion Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements Develop business cases and present recommendations to leadership Data & Stakeholder Collaboration Work cross-functionally with Merchants, Operations, Finance, and Tech teams Translate business requirements into data solutions Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field 8+ years of experience in business analytics, consulting, e-commerce, or retail Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL Experience working with large datasets and building dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in e-commerce or fast-paced retail environments Familiarity with pricing, merchandising, or supply chain analytics Proficiency in other data analytic tools (preferred) Strong communication skills in English (highly preferred) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Key Competencies Data-driven decision-making Strong business judgment Ownership and accountability Stakeholder management and communication Agility and adaptability   Recruitment Process and Others      Recruitment Process    Application Review - Phone Interview - Onsite (or Virtual Onsite) Interview – Offer The exact nature of the recruitment process may vary according to the specific job and may be changed due to scheduling or other circumstances.
