This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Engineer, Grid Engineering and Interconnection based in the United States. This is a senior technical and leadership role focused on strengthening grid reliability, enabling renewable integration, and advancing modern transmission planning. You will lead a team of transmission planning and interconnection engineers while remaining directly involved in complex, high-impact power system studies. The role combines deep engineering expertise with client engagement, project leadership, and business development. You’ll work with utilities, independent power producers, and system operators to deliver analyses that influence major infrastructure and reliability decisions. Your expertise will span power flow, voltage and transient stability, short-circuit analysis, interconnection, congestion, and economic studies. You’ll also help develop engineering talent, maintain exceptional technical standards, and translate complex findings for both technical and executive audiences. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to shape meaningful energy-sector projects while collaborating with experienced professionals across North America.
