Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity based in RingwoodProvide expert advice and consult on management strategies of high priority individuals under post sentence supervisionCCP5: $116,413 - $140,849 plus superannuation About usCorrections Victoria's purpose is to deliver an effective corrections system for a safe community. Community Correctional Services (CCS), is overseen by Corrections Victoria, a division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety. CCS is responsible for the management and supervision of prisoners on parole, clients under post sentence supervision and court orders.About the roleAs the Principal Practitioner, you will have oversight of staff and case management practices across a service stream of prisoners on parole, including individuals who have committed violent and sexual offences, and post-sentence supervision. Reporting to the Community Correctional Services (CCS) Regional General Manager, this is a key position in the regional and CCS management structure providing supervision of case managers who are monitoring prisoners on parole and individuals subject to post-sentence supervision.You will provide advice and consultation in relation to identified risk escalation behaviours, incident management and quality assurance practices and processes.
