This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Software Engineer based in India. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will shape the technical strategy, architecture, and long-term evolution of critical, large-scale systems. You will influence organization-wide engineering decisions and help align multiple teams around scalable, secure, and maintainable technology. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership across distributed systems, cloud platforms, modernization, and reliability. You will play a key role in advancing AI-assisted development practices and AI-enabled capabilities. Working across complex technical and business domains, you will drive initiatives that have broad organizational impact. You will also mentor senior engineers and help establish a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and high technical standards.
