Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

Our partner is looking for a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist based in the United States. The Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist will manage complex procurement activities supporting specialized goods and services within a defense-focused supply chain environment. This role owns supplier and procurement activities from sourcing and solicitation through negotiation, award, contract administration, and supplier performance management. You will collaborate closely with contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, logistics, and program teams. The position combines strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, compliance, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement. You will help optimize cost, delivery, quality, and risk while ensuring procurement activities comply with government requirements and organizational policies. The role requires independent judgment, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex operating environment. This is a fully remote opportunity with limited travel and the chance to contribute to mission-critical supply chain programs.
