Full Job Description

The Central Flow (CF) Sr. Process Specialist has Central Flow Experience and will own the strategy, mechanisms and initiatives within Central Flow LATAM that drive sustained CF Performance reflected in Speed and Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA) by proactively rightsizing labor to close capacity risk. Those initiatives include labor adjustment strategy and the levers that execute it, real-time capacity risk identification and response, rolled volume recovery mechanisms, and the development of standardized processes, automated reporting, and network-wide controls. Success hinges on balancing three critical metrics that pull against one another: Capped Out Hours (COH) & Capacity constrains, cost as measured by Throughput Per Hour (TPH), and Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA). This role partners with Field Operations, Finance, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), planning partner teams, Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES), and Last Mile Tech (LMT), and is both a collaborator focused on implementing network-wide initiatives and the labor management partner for Regional Directors and Operations General Managers across two business lines.

The Sr. CF Specialist works independently with multiple teams, they influence priorities through data-driven decision making and present complex solutions to Director-level leadership.

To be successful in this role you need to pair analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong executive communication skills, demonstrate strong judgment in making time-sensitive decisions that impact delivery performance, labor utilization, and customer experience, be comfortable operating with limited guidance in an ambiguous, constantly changing environment, and be able to prepare and deliver detailed, data-driven business reviews with clear and effective narratives to senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities

  1. The Process Improvement Manager will own capacity planning initiatives and Central FLow improvement tools.

  2. The Process Improvement Manager will support DEA and speed by proactively rightsizing labor to close capacity risk before it becomes a delivery miss, and will drive proactive labor management for rolled volume recovery — building the playbooks, escalation paths, and decision guardrails.

  3. The Process Improvement Manager will design the governance model for shift labor levers, defining decision rights between Central Flow and the field so that same-day actions are fast, consistent, and auditable across two business lines with different tooling and maturity.

  4. The Process Improvement Manager will implement automated reporting, real-time visibility, and model-driven mechanisms that surface FC shift risk before it becomes a delivery miss, and will document Standard Operating Procedures so execution does not depend on a single owner.

  5. The Process Improvement Manager will develop trust-based relationships with Regional Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, and functional partners across S&OP, AMZL and MM.
