We are looking for a Litigation Lawyer (m/f/d)

Would you like to work long-term in a stable organization with a close-knit and collaborative team? Do you thrive in a role that combines personal responsibility with local presence and continuity? If so, you may be the person we are looking for.

Riverty is currently seeking a Litigation Lawyer for a permanent full-time position based in Varberg, Sweden. We would particularly welcome candidates with ties to Varberg and the surrounding area who are interested in growing and developing with us over the long term.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will take on an important long-term position within our Swedish Litigation Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling disputes and litigation matters as legal counsel for Riverty and our clients in a dynamic yet stable work environment.
  • Working as part of a team where collaboration and long-term commitment are highly valued.
  • Independently managing legal proceedings from start to finish, including investigations, drafting legal documents, communicating with opposing parties, authorities, and courts, and representing clients in court.
  • Supporting the business in debt collection matters and issues related to claims management and dispute resolution.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Holds a Swedish law degree (juristexamen), preferably with a few years of professional experience.
  • Thrives in a long-term role and appreciates the value of building a stable professional career alongside colleagues over time.
  • Has excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Experience from a judicial clerkship (notarietjänstgöring) or dispute resolution within debt collection or claims management is considered an advantage.
  • An additional benefit is having ties to Varberg or the surrounding region. We believe that local engagement and presence create stability and a long-term perspective for both you and the team.
