Procurement Specialist - (Buyer)

You’ll be focused on: • Managing end-to-end sourcing activities for goods and services. • Leading RFQ, RFP and supplier selection processes. • Conducting supplier negotiations to achieve best value, quality, service, and risk outcomes. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Supporting business teams in defining procurement requirements and sourcing strategies. • Evaluating supplier proposals through commercial, financial, and qualitative assessments. • Ensuring procurement processes comply with VWGDS policies, governance requirements, and Group standards. • Supporting contract negotiations in collaboration with Legal, Information Security, Compliance, and business teams. • Monitoring supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Supporting Purchase Request (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes where required. • Maintaining procurement documentation, sourcing records, and audit-ready files. • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and procurement efficiencies. • Collaborating with Contract Management, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and operational teams to successfully deliver procurement projects.

In order to succeed, you’ll need: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. • 3-5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Management. • Experience managing RFQ and RFP processes. • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. • Commercial mindset with strong analytical capabilities. • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP. • Excellent communication skills in English. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple procurement initiatives simultaneously. Nice to have: • Experience in IT Procurement, Professional Services, Facilities, Workplace Services, or Corporate Services procurement. • Knowledge of contract management practices. • Familiarity with procurement compliance and governance frameworks. • Experience working in an international or multinational environment. • Portuguese language skills.
