Procurement Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Procurement Manager based in Canada. This is an opportunity to build and lead procurement operations as the first dedicated procurement hire within a fast-growing technology environment. You will oversee purchasing across software and IT, marketing and events, travel, professional services, employee onboarding, and other business categories. The role combines strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiation, and hands-on process building. You will partner closely with Finance, IT, Legal, Security, and business leaders to ensure purchasing decisions balance cost, risk, business needs, and long-term value. You will own the full vendor lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiations through contracts, renewals, risk reviews, and ongoing relationship management. A key focus will be driving savings through smarter purchasing, reducing waste, consolidating redundant tools, and improving spend visibility. This role offers substantial autonomy and the opportunity to establish scalable procurement practices from the ground up in a remote-first organization.
