Procurement Manager (UAE National)

We are currently supporting a leading organization in the UAE in the appointment of a Procurement Manager (UAE National) to oversee and drive strategic procurement activities across large-scale projects and operational requirements. This role is ideal for a commercially driven procurement professional with strong experience in contracts management, vendor negotiations, and supply chain governance within EPC, utilities, infrastructure, or energy environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives
• Lead end-to-end procurement cycle including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
• Manage supplier prequalification, performance evaluation, and vendor relationship strategies
• Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, LDs, and risk allocation
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and UAE regulatory requirements
• Oversee subcontract agreements, service contracts, and long-term supply arrangements
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize total cost of ownership
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Project teams
• Monitor procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics
• Support tendering activities and provide commercial input during bid preparation

Requirements

• UAE National (Emirati)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• 8–15+ years of procurement experience with atleast 2-4 years of Managerial experience
• Proven experience in EPC, infrastructure, utilities, oil & gas, or large-scale project environments
• Strong background in contract negotiation and subcontract management
• Knowledge of FIDIC and contract risk principles preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
