Procurement Officer (Technology)

Our client is a leading technology company based in Dubai, specializing in delivering innovative IT solutions and services to businesses across the region. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Procurement Officer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure IT hardware, software, and accessories based on business needs.
• Contact and coordinate with authorized vendors, distributors, and brand partners for quotations, pricing, and stock availability.
• Compare quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Manage procurement documentation, maintain a supplier database, and track purchase orders efficiently.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long-term business goals.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (IT, Finance, Operations) to confirm requirements and ensure smooth order execution.
• Monitor inventory levels and support restocking processes according to project demands.
• Stay informed about IT market trends, product launches, and pricing developments.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement within an IT company (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IT products, brands, and suppliers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/procurement software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
