ABOUT THE ROLE
Full job description
ABOUT THE ROLE Join an AI agent monitoring startup as a full-stack Product Engineer. You will shape how teams identify, prioritize, and resolve production failures in AI agents, helping make these systems more reliable and easier to trust. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Turn high volumes of production signals into clear, prioritized issues for teams to address.
- Build and improve the end-to-end workflow for detecting, triaging, alerting on, and resolving failures.
- Integrate the product with tools such as collaboration platforms, issue trackers, code hosting services, and coding agents.
- Develop ways for people and AI agents to work together on resolving issues.
- Build across the full stack in TypeScript, from data ingestion and core services to user-facing product features.
- Work directly with customers to understand problems and deliver solutions, while helping establish engineering standards. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least one year shipping production software, with a track record of building products people use and contributing beyond a narrow specialty.
- Strong full-stack TypeScript skills, including frontend development and core services.
- Experience building and operating AI agents in production, and familiarity with AI system failure modes and debugging agent behavior.
- Experience with high-volume event data, data pipelines, cost-aware system design, observability, monitoring, and production debugging.
- Ability to independently take customer problems from discovery to shipped solutions, make architectural decisions, and work comfortably with ambiguity.
- Experience as a founder or CEO.
- Experience with user-facing products is required; PR review automation, code quality tooling, and early-stage teams are relevant backgrounds. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual salary range: $120,000 to $200,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California, United States, six days per week.
