Since inception, UnitX has shipped 1000+ mission-critical systems across 180+ of the world's leading manufacturers' production lines. Every year, $6.1B dollar worth of products (think EV batteries) go through UnitX AI inspection system to ensure quality. Founded by engineers from Stanford, MIT, and Google, we’re a fast-moving Series B startup combining cutting-edge machine vision, robotics, and AI. We value creativity, precision, and ownership. We’re looking for builders who want to shape the next generation of intelligent factories. THE ROLE We are looking for a Product Ops Engineer to support customer deployments, build customizations, troubleshoot technical issues, and help improve the product based on field needs. This role works closely with Engineering, Product, FAE, and customer teams. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support customer deployments from setup through acceptance.
  • Configure and customize the product for customer applications.
  • Build integrations with systems such as PLC, MES, FTP, and databases.
  • Troubleshoot issues across software, hardware, networking, and configuration.
  • Build scripts and tools to improve deployment and debugging efficiency.
  • Document solutions and share learnings with the team.
  • Identify recurring product gaps from customer deployments.
  • Contribute small bug fixes and product improvements with support from the Engineering team. REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Solid programming skills in Python or C++.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a customer facing technical role.
  • Experience with PLC, MES, industrial networking, or system integration.
  • Comfortable working with Linux and debugging technical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to work directly with customers and field teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with machine vision, industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with Docker, IPCs, NVIDIA Jetson, or edge computing. WHAT WE OFFER
